Cookies & Browser Storage
The storage your workspace needs to work.

Sign-in and essential storage
Sovereign uses browser storage for your Supabase sign-in session under the sovereign-auth storage key, including session credentials used to keep you signed in and refresh your session. Hosting and external checkout providers may also use essential cookies or security mechanisms for their services. If Keep me signed in is off, sign-in credentials use this tab’s session storage; closing the tab ends that stored session, although browser session restore can retain it. If you choose to stay signed in, credentials use persistent browser storage. Always log out on a shared device. Logging out ends the active app session; clearing browser storage may require you to sign in again. We store your analytics choice, version and date under sovereign-cookie-choice-v2 for up to 180 days. Earlier essential-storage acknowledgements do not grant analytics permission. The choice contains no account or personal workspace entries.
Tracking and external services
Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you choose Allow visitor analytics. It measures public-page visits and general traffic sources, using cookies such as _ga and _ga_YGR07ELQKK, which may last up to two years under Google’s settings. Our consent choice expires after 180 days and permission is requested again. Choose Essential cookies only to decline or withdraw; accessible Analytics cookies are then removed and future collection stops. Private workspace contents are excluded. Query strings and fragments are removed from page addresses and only the referring website origin is sent. Advertising tracking is disabled. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites for Google’s processing information. PayFast, Google Maps and external links apply their own policies. Browser settings also let you manage storage.
